    • Method Detail

      • decodeFieldOptions

         final Map<String, List<InputOption>> decodeFieldOptions(Object raw)

SPEC-448 §B — the one public way to turn a wrapper bridge's raw [blockId: [option maps]] into typed options.

It lives HERE, in the core, rather than in each wrapper. OnboardingConfigParser is internal on purpose, so the RN wrapper -- a separate Gradle module -- could not reach it and the wrapper's own copy failed to compile. Re-parsing the maps inside the wrapper would have compiled and been worse: ADR-001 says a wrapper carries no logic, and two option parsers are how the promise that a host-supplied option and an authored one render identically quietly stops being true.

Returns null for anything unusable, so a malformed bridge payload leaves the block's authored options standing rather than blanking the field.

      • decodeMapRoutes

         final Map<String, MapRouteOverride> decodeMapRoutes(Object raw)

SPEC-451 — the one public way to turn a wrapper bridge's raw [blockId: {polyline, stops}] into typed route overrides.

It lives HERE, in the core, for the same reason decodeFieldOptions does: OnboardingConfigParser is internal, so the RN wrapper — a separate Gradle module — cannot reach it, and a second decoder written inside the wrapper would compile happily while quietly diverging from this one.

Returns null for anything unusable, so a malformed bridge payload leaves the block's authored route standing rather than blanking the map.
