public class IPRange
extends Object

Utility class that is designed to check belongings of one address to the range.
This class is designed in the way that we won't need any changes to external classes in case of migration to IPv6.

IPRange

Creates new IPRange object.

Parameters:

min - minal ip address

max - maximal ip address

address - ip address that will be used as host for this range

IPRange

               byte[] max,
               byte[] address)

Creates new IPRange object

Parameters:

min - minimal ip address

max - maximal ip address

address - ip address that will be used as host for this range

isInRange

public boolean isInRange(String address)

Checks if address is in range

Parameters:

address - address to check if is in range

Returns:

true if is in range, false in other case

getAddress

public byte[] getAddress()

Retuns address that is assigned to this range

Returns:

address that is assigned to this range

getMinAsByteArray

public byte[] getMinAsByteArray()

Returns minimal ip address of the range

Returns:

minimal ip address of the range

getMaxAsByteArray

public byte[] getMaxAsByteArray()

Returns maximal ip address of the range

Returns:

maximal ip address of the range

toByteArray

public static byte[] toByteArray(String address)

Convers IPv4 address to byte array

Parameters:

address - String to convert

Returns:

byte array that represents string

Equals of IPRange object. Auto-Generated.
