Class HorizontalScrollingGradient

    public class HorizontalScrollingGradient
extends android.view.View
    An extension of a view that will allow for a drawable to be scrolled horizontally from left to right for a specified amount of time.

    The following values can be set via styleable attributes:

    • drawableWidthDp: This will be the width of the drawable. If not set then the instrinsic width of the drawable will be used.
    • durationMs: The duration of the scrolling. Default is 1000ms.
    • drawable: The drawable. If no drawable has been set then a IllegalArgumentException will be thrown.

    It is important to understand that the drawable will start off the view on the left and end off the view on the right and that it will repeat forever until stopAnimation() is called. The animation will start automatically when View.onSizeChanged(int, int, int, int) is invoked.
